Advanced Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Masterclass:
The AFSA Advanced Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Masterclass comprises of two in-depth modules.
The Food Allergy module covers: Classification of adverse reactions to food, history taking in IgE mediated food allergy, eczema & food allergy, eosinophilic oesophagitis, FPIES, incremental oral food challenges, solid food introduction & allergy prevention & treatment, food allergen immunotherapy and cow’s milk allergy: treatment & prevention.
The Anaphylaxis module covers: New mechanisms in anaphylaxis, risk, recognition & cofactors and treatment of anaphylaxis.
The online Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis components should take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. You will be required to watch the presentations before attempting the short quiz at the end of each topic.
Once you have completed the Anaphylaxis Assessment you will be issued with a certificate, indicating completion and allocated 2 CPD points.
Masterclass: The Masterclass exam consists of 20 questions and successful completion of the Masterclass is worth 7 CPD points. Please do not attempt to do the exam unless you have watched the Masterclass recording.
