What\u2019s New in Allergy \u2013 New Guidelines, Biologics, Patient Education, Allergy Diagnosis & Angioedema Masterclass (Recording):<\/strong><\/p>\n

The AFSA What\u2019s New in Allergy Masterclass consists of 2 in-depth modules focusing on Angioedema and Allergy Diagnostics.<\/p>\n

The Angioedema module covers the following elements: Urticaria vs. Angioedema, types of angioedema & broad pathophysiology, drug-induced angioedema, HAE introduction & pathophysiology, clinical characteristics, diagnosis and management.<\/p>\n

The online Angioedema course component should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. You will be required to do an assessment before doing the Allergy Diagnostics Module<\/p>\n

The online Allergy Diagnostics module of approximately 50 minutes, coves the following: \u00a0introduction, allergens & irritants, testing methods, interpretation of results, cross reactivity and component resolved diagnostics. This is followed by an assessment.<\/p>\n

Having completed the online modules and assessments, you will be able to download the Certificate with 2 CPD Points.<\/p>\n

Masterclass<\/strong>: The Masterclass exam consists of 20 questions and successful completion of the Masterclass you will download the certificate worth 6 CPD points on achievement of 80%. Please do not attempt to do the exam unless you have attended the Masterclass or viewed the recording.<\/p>\n

The Allergy Masterclass on 23 October 2021. If you are unable to attend on the day, you can watch the recorded Masterclass presentations.<\/p>\n

The AFSA What\u2019s New in Allergy Masterclass consists of an in-depth module focusing on Angioedema.<\/p>\n

The Angioedema module covers the following elements: Urticaria vs. Angioedema, types of angioedema & broad pathophysiology, drug-induced angioedema, HAE introduction & pathophysiology, clinical characteristics, diagnosis and management.<\/p>\n

The online Angioedema course component should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. You will be required to watch the presentation before attempting the short quiz at the end.<\/p>\n

Once you have completed the Angioedema Assessment you will be issued with a certificate, indicating completion and allocated 2 CPD points.<\/p>\n

Masterclass<\/b>: The Masterclass exam consists of 20 questions and successful completion of the Masterclass is worth 7 CPD points. Please do not attempt to do the exam unless you have attended the Masterclass or viewed the recording.<\/p>\n
